A 42-bedroom hotel that is ideally located in an elite suburb at 186 Innes road, Morningside, Durban. This location makes it possible for easy excess to beaches, casinos, uShaka Marine world, stadiums, shopping centres, Durban's ICC and many more attractions. All these activities are in a 3-4 km radius. We are 200m down the road from Clifton College where major water events take place.
Mitchell's Park is about 500m up the road from the hotel.
New Management
The hotel is under new ownership and management, and has been fully refurbished, hence the name "New Morningside Hotel" formerly known as the "Morningside Lodge" We cater for the business traveler, leisure, sports and the local market. Our repeat business is basketball, swimming, hockey, soccer, water polo and many sports supporters especially rugby. The Absa stadium is just down the road, about 1km.
The Bedrooms
Our bedrooms are all en suite and consist of either a shower, or shower and bath, TV. with SABC 1,2 and 3, e-TV. and a movie channel, ceiling fans in our standard and premier rooms and our family rooms are air-conditioned.
TV Lounge/Bar
We have a TV lounge on the 3rd floor together with a bar and a lovely view of the city of Durban and also overlooking the Absa stadium and Suncoast casino.
